Working with a business coach at the “set-up” stage and in the early years of trading will be an invaluable experience for you and your committee.

At Singulier we employ qualified Coaches with  hands-on experience of running businesses and supporting others. Most of the coaching is done online, using email, telephone or the web to communicate. You work at your own pace and at a time that suits you. Face to face coaching is also possible on request.

Specialist Coaching  Sessions

Area 0 – About you and your business or social enterprise. Bring to the table anything you wish support with. No topic too big to discuss.

Area 1 – Marketing: How to market your business or social enterprise. We will spend time reviewing how you currently market your organisation, assess your target market, develop key marketing messages and identify appropriate solutions and marketing methods for you.

Area 2 - Trading: How to find ways to trade and be less reliant on funding. We will look at 6 ways to generate income for your organisation and develop a comprehensive action plan to take to your board for appraisal.

Area 3 - Writing for success:  How to hit the right buttons with funders. We will focus on writing techniques and developing the content of 3 key questions that you will find in most funding applications.

Area 4 – Finance & Funding:  How to think long term planning and sustainability. Need finance solutions to maintain your cashflow or for a project? We will identify the best options for your organisation at this moment in time.

Area 5 - Collaboration: How to develop effective partnership working. You may have considered co-operating with another organisation on a tender. We will help you assess how to do to this effectively to possibly cut costs or strengthen your chances to win contracts.

A good Coach will start by helping you identify your Business Objectives and will guide you through the process of keeping them on track. But, an effective way to keep motivated and business focused outside the one to one coaching sessions is to join our Social Enterprise Growth Challenge.

Social Enterprise Growth Challenge

This programme is made up of four  intense Coaching Workshops per year.You can choose to book on the full programme or one session at a time.  They act as a catalyst to make things happen in your organisation.

Take Stock : We help you review where you are in terms of strategy, focusing on your vision/services/finance/team, and give you the support your need to re-focus and eventually turn things around where it is needed.

Refocus : You will face the barriers that are hindering your organisation, discuss challenges and opportunities with like-minded people in your sector, identify the little steps you need to take to realistically deliver your mission, impact on your stakeholders and community .

Take Action: You will clearly state your organisational objectives for the year and describe specific tasks for the next quarter, thus producing a detailed action plan which you will take forward with your Management Team and your Committee.
